This weekend of racing is highlighted by our Group 1 international runner Under Your Spell. The 3yo filly will tackle the Garden Province Stakes in Greyville, South Africa. In Australia, we have Ostile making his debut in the Listed Taj Rossi Series Final at Flemington.

Dick Whittington
Dick Whittington has been building towards a winning performance and should the rain stay away, will be given a good chance to do so at Rosehill. His best form is over 2400m and he’s now at peak fitness. Hopefully he can step up here and feature in the finish.

Barade
We know Barade is better suited over further, though this race will set him up well for a more suitable event at Doomben on July 13. His first run in Queensland this campaign had merit and his best form would see him be very competitive in this field.
Race 1 – 12:53pm | 1800m BM80 | T: Jack Bruce | J: Jaden Lloyd 59kg | Barrier 1 | Saddlecloth 2
Flemington

Ostile
Ostile will make his debut in Listed company following three preparatory trials. He is one for the future, with the autumn of his three-year-old season likely to be where we see the best of him. Hopefully he has a good experience here first-up, settling towards the rear early before finding the line.

Struck Twice
The full brother of I’m Thunderstruck is another ready to make his debut. He is more of a staying type, one who we hope to see feature in a Derby next season. He will take a world of good from this outing, which will hopefully set him up well for the future.
