Connections of Vivy Air are now dreaming of black-type targets in the spring with the 3yo daughter of Hellbent.
On resumption, the filly found herself in a hot 3yo BM64 event at Seymour, which included a number of talented spring prospects.
Settling towards the rear of the field, the filly closed off strongly to win in impressive style. Race rider Declan Bates commented post-race “I love the way she picked up late. The further we went the better she picked up.”

The daughter of @yarramanpark’s HELLBENT is bred and raced by @OTIRacing and looks set for a successful preparation 👏 https://t.co/BWM2peqLD6
Vivy Air could next be seen in stakes company, with options such as the 1600m Group 2 Edward Manifold at Flemington on October 7, or the 1400m Group 2 Thousand Guineas Prelude at Caulfield on October 21 firmly on the agenda.
Long range, it would be fantastic to see her contest a race like the 1600m Group 1 Thousand Guineas at Caulfield in November!
